Family Property to enjoy

About Us

History of the house
The eight houses around the coastal footpath at Trebetherick were all built in approximately 1938
Corncockle was originally owned by the American Westinghouse family who sold it to my parents in 1950
Ideally placed to go surfing at Polzeath, golfing at St Enodoc, boating, or sailing at Rock all within a few minutes walk from the house. The house is several hundred meters away from any public road and is approached by a private thoroughfare. So ideal for children and dogs.
Beautiful sandy beech of Daymer Bay five minutes walk away.
Beautiful walks around the coastal footpath ,at the end of the garden ,and onto the National Trust at Pentire farm allows excellent exercise with or without a dog.
The house is not glamorous inside but it is a family holiday home ,clean and tidy, and it’s meant to give a family lovely memories of their stay by the seaside and all the enjoyment that family holidays can produce.
In the evenings, watch the Sun go down over the horizon of the Atlantic.
We hope that you will enjoy your stay at Corncockle and ,if so ,do come again.

With very best wishes,
Christopher Allen
